Our campaign is built on a profound, yet simple idea - to share the real stories of immigrants who rely on Ria. These are individuals who left their homeland to toil diligently in a foreign land, all for the sake of providing for their families both here and in their home countries.
Dedication and love define Maria's journey.
As the eldest of five, she stepped into the caretaker role when her mother fell ill. Maria sacrificed her education to work but remained steadfast. She ventured to the United States, secured a job, resumed school, and became a nurse, driven by her passion to help others. Her ongoing financial support transformed her sisters' lives.
An tale of family tradition and resilience.
Carlos and his wife operated a small restaurant in El Salvador, famous for his grandma’s recipes. When business declined, they moved to the United States, leaving their grandmother behind. The couple worked various jobs, saving to support their grandmother. They later fulfilled their dream with a food truck business, honoring their family legacy. Now, they own five successful food trucks and still send support to El Salvador, thriving in their new home.
